Setting Up Your Facebook App for Integration
Follow these steps carefully to create your Facebook App. Skipping any part may cause the feature to malfunction.
1. Visit the Facebook Developers Site
- Open your web browser and go to https://developers.facebook.com/
2. Navigate to ‘My Apps’
- Click on the ‘My Apps’ menu at the top right of the page.
1. Create a New App
- Click on the ‘Create App’ button.
- In the popup, select the ‘Other’ option.
4. Choose the App Type
- Select ‘Business’ as the app type.
- Click on the ‘Next’ button.
5. Configure Your App
- Enter the name of your app.
- Provide your email address.
- Select your verified Business Manager account from the dropdown menu.
Create the App
- Click the ‘Create’ button to finalize the creation of your app.
7. Set Up URL and Webhook
- Go to your agency account settings to find the necessary URL.
- Fill in the required URL and webhook details in your app settings.
Note: After completing your app creation you will need to get app approval from Facebook. Here is the guidelines on how you can able to do it.
